Crabshack is a family owned and run seafood restaurant and beach bar with a large terrace overlooking the sea.Our philosophy is to provide the freshest local fish and seafood alongside fabulous drinks with fantastic service.

We keep our menu small as everything is freshly prepared by us and cooked to order in our kitchen. We believe passionately in honest, simple flavours and letting our amazing ingredients do the talking whilst giving great value for money.  You can dine alfresco on the deck outside or shelter from the storm and stay warm and cosy inside.

We are laid back, relaxed and unpretentious, you can either have a three course meal or just stop by for a snack, beer, cocktail, or glass of wine from our small but interesting wine list. Our service is always friendly, welcoming and informative.

We opened on the 1st June 2015 and by Christmas 2016 Trip Advisor ranked us as number one out of over 300 restaurants in Worthing and ninth out of over 1600 in West Sussex. These rankings are based on unsolicited reviews from happy customers, we never ask people to review us. We have also had some national press recognition with great reviews in The Spectator Magazine May 2016, The Sunday Times “UK Top 20 Seafood shacks” in August 2016 and a mention in The Saturday Guardians “Let’s move to ….” feature in September 2016, the Guardian 2019 “top 10 beach restaurants in Europe”, i weekend “top places to eat by the sea 2019”, and in London Time Out 2019 “A day out in Worthing”.

Our menu changes daily due to seasonal availability and the catch of fish and shellfish but what you see below is a selection of tasty dishes to give you an idea of what you can expect to find when you visit us.

At weekends we get very busy so it is best to book, we normally allow two hours at the table for our earlier sittings so if you think you will need longer then please tell us when making your booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.
